Her commitment to the defense of refugees and migrants’ rights has led her to comply and collaborate on various networks al local, regional and national level. She was coordinator of the Migration Studies Program of the Mexican Human Rights Academy (AMDH), consultant for the Regional Office in Mexico of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and founder and director of Sin Fronteras IAP. She has also been a guest scholar at the Center for Inter-American Studies and Programs (CEPI) of the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and member of the National Council for the Prevention of Discrimination (CONAPRED).
